Our little town of Lézignan-Corbières is a typical French town that has quite a lot to offer. There are many nice wineries, producing wonderful wines. You can visit many of them and taste some of their wines.  "Chateau Grand Moulin" is a winery only 5 minutes on foot from our B&B. In town you will find a nice selection of restaurants, from typical French to Vietnamese.

Each Wednesday morning there is a regional market, with lots of fresh produce, olives, cheeses and even freshly made Paella.

In the heart of the old town is the 11th century church of Saint Félix de Gérone.

During the summer months, our cultural center "Maison Gibert" hosts free outdoor concerts each Thursday evening, and local artist showcase their art in the gallerie. For classical music lovers there is the "Festival de Gaujac", with outdoor concerts in the garden of a Chateau.

Each Spring there is a 3 day fair, called "Prom'aude", that showcases everything the region has to offer, from winemakers, olive farmers, cheese makers to local artisans, working with iron and so much more. It is a popular fair, where people get together tasting all the local delicacies and meet with friends, listening to music.

On June 21st, everyone in France celebrates music with the "Fete de la Musique", so you will find many restaurants that have live music that day.

In August there is a 3 day music festival in the center of town, with many live bands, that put up impressive shows at the center stage. There is also a Movie Theater in town, that sometimes shows movies in English (marked as VOST). Our park is great for kids, with ducks, geese and peacocks and a small playground. Lézignan-Corbières also has a nice forest " La Pinede" where you can enjoy some wonderful nature walks.

At Maison Allène we serve a fresh shellfish dish "Fruits de Mer", with local oysters, shrimp, mussels, clams and sea snails. You can add lobster or crab to this dish if you would like. It is served fresh daily, except on Monday. Reservations are required. The "Fruits de Mer" for 2 persons is served including bread, aïoli (garlic mayo) and coffee/ tea for € 43. We have a nice selection of local wines to accompany this wonderful, fresh seafood dish.

In the afternoon we serve tapas plates and a nice selection of little snacks. They are prepared with local products from the market and regional stores. Drinks are served throughout the day.

Our town also has many restaurants, ranging from French, to Tapas, to Vietnamese. We have made a selection for you, of some of our favorites
